The Zojirushi Fresh Brew Plus makes a super-hot pot of coffee, and can also make iced coffee, thanks to the removable ice basket that fits inside the glass carafe. Whichever method you choose, the coffee brews with hot water if you’re in the mood for a cold cup, just fill the basket with ice, slide it inside the carafe, and the ice will cool and dilute the java as it drips down. It can make 12 cups of coffee hot or 6 cups cold. We awarded Zojirushi high marks in ease-of-use tests. It has easy-to-read controls, a water tank and brew tray that can be filled quickly, and measurement markings that contrast with the container are easily visible.

You can fill the tank with water and the filter basket easily because it’s so small. Make sure you turn the water tank off before going out of your home. It doesn’t close automatically.
