Atlas coffee is my favorite, and I have tried many bags. In fact, I’ve shared some with the rest of the Insider Reviews team and they’ve also been impressed with the freshness and quality of the coffee.

Almost equally as important is that the coffee is produced and purchased ethically. This company is committed to sustainable development by paying coffee farmers higher than fair trade to preserve coffee’s growth and working closely with them in the country where they live to supply resources for sustainable production.

Atlas says that approximately 50-60% is Fair Trade certified or direct traded coffee. All of their coffee sources are sustainable and Atlas will pay a premium for them. They source coffee from many countries, including Kenya, Guatemala and Indonesia as well as Peru, Costa Rica. Mexico, Rwanda, Congo and Burundi.
