Incredible Idea, Amazing Recipes

Sam’s YouTube channel is very popular with my boyfriend, and we loved when he said he would publish a cookbook. We knew that we needed it. It does not disappoint! The Short Ribs, Stroganoff, and Egg Rolls were all delicious and easy to prepare. I love the idea of making intentional leftovers. My goal is to waste as few food items as possible. The book has helped me achieve this goal and will hopefully encourage us to experiment with it with our own recipes. We look forward to exploring more recipes in the book, particularly the ones for Thanksgiving leftovers. Also, I love the style of the book. Sam’s videos are a great resource. The way it’s written makes it feel like Sam is there showing you the ropes. We couldn’t be happier with this book so far and we can’t wait to see what Sam has in store next!

Sam Zien from Discovery Health Channel wanted to create a cookbook.

Sam is an easy-to-follow guy. His is a great cookbook for anyone who is learning to cook, has children, can’t cook or has a heavy work schedule. I should also note that Sam has a sense of humor to go along with each recipe.

My best method to discover more about the book was to plan a great meal using dishes from different chapters.

The Artichokey Red Pepper Dip was what I chose to start with. It is quite spicy so I would probably reduce the cayenne by half, and up the Monterey Jack cheese.

It is so simple to make pita chip and they are so delicious. It is so simple to make pita chips, that I urge you not to purchase them from the store. Make your own. I added grated parmesan cheese to the chips, which really added a ton of flavor, and was perfect to go along with the dip.

A perfectly cooked chicken breast, my favorite way to serve artichokes, roasted potatoes with Feta, chocolate bread pudding, and the rest of our meal. While the chicken was tasty, I found it a bit bland. It was delicious with the artichoke and mustard dipping salsas. His great mix of mayonnaise, curry and mustard was my favorite. These flavors are just too good to miss.

Simple and delicious, the roasted potatoes tasted great with the simple feta cheese.

Lastly, I made the bread pudding. For that comforting feeling, the chocolate-cinnamon bread melts in your stomach. This recipe was very popular. It was loved by everyone. Everyone raved about it.

Take All Options of Sharing: Graze Brings Samantha The Cooking Guy’S Living Room to Little Italy

Kelly Zien Diana Rose Photography Sam Zien, a well-known cookbook author, has opened an extension to the Little Italy Food Hall at Piazza Famiglia. For those who tune into his widely-watched YouTube channel to watch the videos he films in the San Diego home he shares with his wife Kelly, Graze by Sam the Cooking Guy is a chance to experience Zien’s world first-hand. You will find a mixture of coffee tables and tables throughout the room. It has a cozy living room feel with comfortable couches and coffee table. Zien’s “grazing” menu includes a wide variety of shared dishes, including charcuterie plates and salads as well flatbreads as snacks like brisket sliders or Chinese barbecue pork.

Zien collaborated with Grain & Grit Collective for the second time on this 1,646-square foot space. This was Zien’s second partnership. Graze by Sam the Cooking Guy includes a full-service bar and a wine dispensing device. A bottle shop also sells beer and wine.

Graze, which will open for lunch on Thursday, February 5, officially extends its hours from 11 a.m.- 10 p.m. Sunday through Saturday and Friday to 11 a.m.- midnight on Saturday and Sunday starting Monday, March 9.
