Target is well-known for carrying all of the necessary items for every room in your home. There are many diapers that babies need so you might find yourself in dire need of more!

If you aren’t using the diapers or have purchased the incorrect size, and would like to return them to Target. Below is what I learned about Target’s diaper return policy.

A Target Diaper Refund Policy for 2022

Target will accept returns for unopened or unused diapers up to 90 days after purchase, starting in 2022. If you provide proof of purchase (original receipt) The diapers can be exchanged within 90 days for another size by sending them back in store or via mail.

Are Diapers Returned Without a Receipt to Target?

You can return diapers to Target without a receipt if you can provide alternative proof of purchase.

Target can locate your order online if the payment was done via Target RedCard (Visa, Mastercard or AmEx), Discover, personal cheque, Target gift card (which should be kept) and Target RedCard.

You may also be able to access the digital receipt or barcode via your Target.com account, which will prove you purchase.

A’merchandise card’ will be issued to you if you don’t have proof of purchase. Target.com cannot redeem this card online.

To verify your identity in any of the cases above, you must present a current form government-issued photograph ID.

What if I want to return my diapers to Target after 90 days?

Target allows diapers to be returned within 90 days. You will only receive the merchandise card with the current value and the lowest price in the 90-day period.

If you purchase diapers through your Target RedCard you have 120-days to return the product with a receipt.

Additionally, Target diapers brands such as Up&Up are eligible for a one year return policy.

Where can I send my Diapers to Target?

Diapers purchased on Target.com or at a Target store can be returned to any store to the Customer Services Desk with the original receipt or the barcode found in the Target app, Target delivery, or shipping confirmation email, and the original form of payment.

Target.com diapers can be returned via postal mail. However, you’ll need to pay the return shipping costs unless Target made an error.

These are typical wait times based upon the payment method:

Target RedCard – 1 to 2 days

A third-party credit card is available for 1 to 3 business days

Cash – 1 or 2 days

It can take as long as 5 days for Target to issue a refund via the Online Return Center.

Can I Return Diapers Purchased In A Different Store To Target?

You cannot return diapers purchased at a different store to Target.

Target will not accept diapers that are the same brand and type as the original.
