So what exactly is no-knead bread?

The method uses long fermentation to make bread. The dough is very moist and contains low yeast. Allow the dough to rise and be covered for about 12-18 hours. It will then double in size. The dough is placed in a Dutch oven, preheated at 450 F. After 30 minutes, the Dutch oven is removed from the lid and baked for 10-15 minutes, until it is golden brown.

There is absolutely nothing to do in this bread recipe. Mix all ingredients together – instant yeast, flour, salt and room temperature water. Let it sit for 12 hours, or overnight. There is no need to knead or knead this dough. It is also important to note the importance of salt in bread recipe.
